Ainjloula is a small town and commune in Kairouan governotate of central tunisia, situated 30 kilometers west of kairouan and the eastern mountains of jebel weslat. its population is about 9500 , about 3500 houses . , its surrounding numerous caves housing prehistoric remains.
Ainjloula is marked by its agricultural peculiarities which is explained by its large irrigation area of about 150 hectares planted with apricpts of various kinds . along with apricots, the inhabitants cultivate citus and olive trees. Beekiing and raising livestock are possible alternative for farmers to earn
living . the environment of ainjloula is an other feature of this ancient city , its location that is surrounded by a group of mountains and the absence of factories polluting the environment , made it a wonderful place to live in with its pure air and albumin water .

1) The local cultural festival : a local festival that takes place annulally in ainjloula . it lasts from three days to a week . it includes cultural and tourism activities and display of the traditional crafts . this local festival aims to give an integraed entertainment for the visitors and the villagers aswell.

the international Mountain Olive festival :An annula festival in Ainjloula and Ousseltia . It aims at reviving the tangible and untangible heritage of the ancestors in cultivation of olives , around which the dimensions of agricultural, ecological and cultural development are centered in the will to act away from the ruins of the past . this initiative was organized by the Jebel Weslat Assosiation For Heritage and Development in partnership with the municipalities of ainjloula and Waslatiya , the regional authorities and tourism , cultural and agricultural departments. This festival offers a rich program and a variety of activities such as cultural shows and promotions for traditional industries , in addition to tourism and equestrian shows that carry the cyltural heritage . Nearly 8000 new olive trees were planted to rebuild the mountain . the bee festival is held annually at the begining of february
